Sound as an object in space.
In a stereo mix, everything lives between left and right. In Dolby Atmos, every sound gets its own place in three dimensions: in front of, behind, beside and above the listener.
That mix scales with the playback system, from a cinema to a soundbar or ordinary headphones via binaural playback.

What do I need to deliver?
Separate stems per instrument group, at the same sample rate and from the same starting point. The session itself works too.
Can I listen to an Atmos mix at home?
Yes. Apple Music and Tidal play Atmos on headphones via binaural playback, and on a soundbar or home cinema system with Atmos support. You also receive a binaural render to check the mix.
Which platforms support Atmos?
Apple Music, Tidal and Amazon Music for music; Netflix, Disney+ and cinemas for picture. We deliver in the format each platform requires.
How long does a mix take?
That depends on the number of tracks and revisions. Count on about one day per track for an Atmos mix; you’ll receive a schedule with the proposal.
